8.   The most important thing to a congress person is getting reelected.

9.   They spend 35% of their time working for congress and 65% working on their reelection.

10. Tax pays 2 BILLION DOLLARS a year supporting congress. 535 members of congress, $4,000,000 ea.

11. They work 104 days a year. These are the days they don't work.

       a.  The entire month of August.  (August recess)

       b.  Spring recess. (1week in March)

       c.   All 12 federal holidays. They don't take just the day, they take the entire week. (12 weeks)

       d.  They don't work on Mondays or Fridays. Those are travel days back home. (104 days)

       e.   Every other year they take 6 weeks off to work on reelection, with pay. Challengers get no pay
